Faces of JBC: Andy Brady

Welcome to another installment of our Faces of JBC series, where we take a moment to highlight our most valuable assets, our wonderful team members! Today, we're shining the spotlight on Andy Brady, the General Manager of the Madison, WI Center of Excellence.
We sat down with Andy to discuss his role here at JBC as well as some of his favorite things outside of work. From working his way up from machine operator to general manager to his time on a dance competition TV show in the 80s, take a minute to get to know more about Andy and what makes him such an important part of the JBC team.

What did you do before working at JBC?
"I was a plant manager for Springs Window Furnishings. I oversaw 12 departments and 143 associates in the making of window/patio blinds."
Describe your role at JBC and what attracted you to it.
"I am the General Manager for the Madison facility. I was attracted to the small, family feel I felt during the interviewing process."
How do you feel you have grown professionally?
"I have climbed the ladder from a machine operator to a general manager in my 35-year career. I feel like you gain a lot of respect from fellow team members that way, rather than just getting hired into a position."
What are some of your interests outside of work?"Spending time with family and friends, watching THE Green Bay Packers, and grilling." |
What is something about you that most people don't know?"Back in the late 1980's I was on a dance TV show for one season that was based out of a Wisconsin Dells Dance Club." |
Who is the most famous person you've ever met?"Multiple Green Bay Packers players." |
What is your greatest motivation?"My family. You want to show them that with a good work ethic, you can gain respect from others and climb the ladder of success." |
