Faces of JBC: Get to Know Francisco Ruiz

Today, we're thrilled to introduce Francisco Ruiz. Francisco joined the Die-Cut Technologies team in 1999 and seamlessly became an invaluable part of Team JBC when JBC acquired Die-Cut Technologies in 2021. We're incredibly fortunate to have him with us!

Why did you decide to go into Manufacturing and what do you like most about it?I've been with the Northglenn team since 1999 doing various functions, it was only natural for me to move into Manufacturing after covering different positions in the organization throughout the years. What I like the most is the pride we take in meeting and in most cases exceeding our customers’ expectations. |
Describe your role at JBC and how it fits with the big picture.
I am the Manufacturing Manager at JBC's Northglenn Colorado facility. In that role, I like to think that I am making a difference in the organization as well as in the customers.
What attracted you to JBC and what is your favorite part of your role?
JBC had me at “we care” one of the core values of the company. My favorite part of my role as Manufacturing Manager is leading the most wonderful group of people and helping them develop new skills for their own growth in the organization.

More than a team, I feel we are family as we have been through thick and thin together.
What are you most proud of while working here at JBC?I am very proud of the engagement we have accomplished among all departments in the organization and the willingness to overcome obstacles as a team. |
What is the best part/ most unique about working at JBC?The most unique thing about working at JBC is the great environment we work in. Yes, we work hard, and yes, we work smart too, but we also do it while having a little fun! |
So far, what has been your favorite project ?It is hard to pick just one project. I like being involved in developing or improving processes. I am also very passionate about having a good inventory system that would result in a healthy and accurate inventory. |
How do you feel you have grown professionally at jbc?Expectations for professional growth at JBC are very real and I am happy to be given the opportunity to do more. I feel that the tools for growth are at our fingertips. |
Can you describe your job/company in three words?
Exciting, Challenging, Rewarding.
What is your greatest motivation?
The people I work with. Having the support from all levels of the organization is always very motivating.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
I enjoy singing. Not so sure that people around me enjoy my singing as much as I do. Love family gatherings. I also enjoy cooking but only if someone else does the dishes.
What is something about you that most people don’t know?
I am afraid of heights. Oops! Please keep the secret!
