TABshield™ is a lightweight, thermal/acoustic barrier that provides superior thermal and acoustic performance. It is designed for targeted noise and heat suppression applications and is available in sheets, rolls, or custom die-cut shapes.

What are the typical properties of TABshield™?

TABshield™ has a needled core laminated with foil and optional PSA. It has a moisture absorption rate of 0.3% and thermal conductivity values of 0.034 W/m°K at 20°C, 0.038 W/m°K at 65°C, and 0.044 W/m°K at 93°C per ASTM C177-13.

What are the different TABshield™ series available?

The TABshield™ series includes the TAB 200 series (foil + insulation + adhesive), the TAB 100 series (foil + insulation), and the TABCORE series (insulation only, with or without adhesive). Each series offers various foil thicknesses and insulation core options.

Available in sheets, rolls, or die-cut to your specification, TABshield patches may be customized with pull tabs for easier liner removal, adhesive for ease of installation, embossing for better formability, and/or microperforating for improved acoustical performance.
