The tape features a general purpose acrylic adhesive on both sides that bonds to a broad range of high surface energy substrates like metals, glass and easier-to-bond paints and plastics. The heat-activated adhesive forms an immediate, consistent and durable bond to most EPDM formulations and Santoprene® materials. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is characterized by high adhesion and holding strength to many surfaces, including automotive paints and metals. This tape has good conformability and is used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.

3M VHB Tape GPH-110GF is a 0.045 in (1.1 mm) thick gray double-sided acrylic foam tape with a red polyethylene liner. The conformable foam provides good contact between substrates even when slightly mismatched. 3M VHB Tape GPH-110GF is part of the 3M VHB Tape GPH series, which bonds a variety of substrates, including many metal, plastic, and painted materials.
